The COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t disappeared, yet the country is eager to return to familiarity. Many businesses have already reopened, adapting illness-prevention protocols on the fly. This attitude of “reopen now” is spurring organizations to act swiftly or risk being left behind. But swiftness can be the enemy of sustainability, especially when there is little to no official guidance that standardizes reopening procedures. And this is especially problematic for schools.
